Number 2

Today I am thankful for Kenzie.  She can make me madder than a wet cat.  But more often, she makes my heart melt.  She teaches me how to have a more open mind and how to share.  She's really funny.  She also teaches me fast forgiveness without holding a grudge.  Like if we have had some type of problem (meltdown, tantrum, fit, etc.) and subsequent punishment (stand in a corner, get toys taken away, a spanking, gasp!), she is so quick to get past it and forgive, even if she's been really mad at me!

Kenzie is smart and driven to do her best at school.  She tells me that she wants to be the smartest kid in the class.  I'm thankful for that, because some kids really just don't care.

I'm really thankful that we are so close.  We love having "girl days" together and just hanging out.  I really hope that doesn't go away during the teenage years.  Please make a mental note to pray for that with me in about 10 years!
